train-to-land connectivity.

Senior Network Solution Architect

At ÖBB, I work on the network architecture connecting trains and land-based systems. That connectivity supports onboard services and departure readiness.

The architecture question

Context. A connectivity loss before departure can prevent a train from starting its trip; a loss during the journey may leave the train running while some services become unavailable.

Design focus. Make those different service dependencies explicit in the topology, integration patterns, and recovery approach.
